Christmas Songs

RE: Christmas Songs
Nice to know I can't be accused of being an idiot. Well, not accurately anyway.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Any Christmas carol, for instance, that presumes Jesus was born in the winter, which we know isn't the case as the shepherds wouldn't be tending flocks in frozen pastures, and I also find it weird the (pious) Christians don't have a shit hemorrhage about all the christer disinformation that is disseminated this time of year.

War on Christmas, indeed.

This is one of those ignorant, unsupported arguments that Aractus was talking about in another thread.

Sheep don't graze in the fields in Israel in December? Really? Here's a handy Google search on the terms "Christmas sheep grazing december"

If you're trying to make Christers look stupid, make sure you don't make atheists look stupid instead.

I think the point was it doesn't get that cold in the middle east.
Lets remember the real reason for Xmas being when it is. There was already a party going on at that time because of the solstice, no one knows when Jesus was actually meant to have been squished out so the Xians highjacked the party.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

The character's birth, about which no one can agree, is nowhere near as important as its death - on which no one can agree. So we're off to a flying start.
