RE: Panic: my mom showed up in the suggested people on my fake facebook
Does anyone care to address the OP? I mean, it would be appreciated.

No, I don't do that. I have no idea how my profile was linked to her's at all.

My only way to address the OP is to say that it bores me.

Are you happy, now?

What about your own profile? Do you look at your own profile with your other account? Are you friends with your original account? Sometimes that triggers it to.

That could be. I removed everyone from my original account where I had family and friends on it. I don't use that account anymore, but I have gone onto that account to like some of the stuff on it with my fake profile. So that could be what triggered it, I don't know. That's really the only connection I could think of to these people being recommended on my fake account.

Facebook doesn't only track you within the facebook site but all over the net. For example after you log into facebook, say you open a news website in another tab, which has a nice fb button to like or share articles, you don't even need to click them, but that info gets associated with you, including your physical location while visiting that page. Now let's say your mom or friends also visit facebook from nearby terminals, so fb sees you people are close by, and probably share some similar interests, poof, they are now in your suggested list.

It's extremely difficult to figure out how to permanently delete your facebook. Fortunately I asked some people that sent me to a simple button, but it's hidden as fuck and there's nothing that directs you to it on facebook. It takes two weeks to be deleted and if you sign in once it cancels the deletion. What the fuck is all of this, how did this happen?

Mate, you've got a lot to learn about marketing profiles. Your IP adress is the first giveaway of your location and based on that, they take it from there. Posting pictures is another sure way of hinting on your interests and your affiliations. They can and will be analysed for marketing purposes. Whatever you post on facebook will be analysed for keywords.

So, there you have it. Facebook is nothing else than a gigantic marketing profiling machine. That's what rakes in the billions. Be as discreet as you want, but be aware that in this time and age, you can't fly under the radar.

Yabut, that is funny!
