So how do you deal with your atheism around the holidays

I look for a nativity display with a real baby in the manger, and I take it home and eat it all up.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I think anyone who treats holidays, Christmas in particular, negatively, or substantially different just because of their Atheism is trying to hard to be recognized as an Atheist.

I mean, if you have a family tradition for holidays, there's no reason to feel like it or you need to change simply because of your beliefs. That's just tempting unnecessary conflict.

As for me, no holiday is really important on this subject except for Christmas, and possibly Easter. My family is all christian, but I hardly have ever seen them talk about god on these holidays, so I don't really think it's an issue. Sometimes I have to go to mass[Church], which is boring but then it's over and I go home.
Which is better:
To die with ignorance, or to live with intelligence?

Truth doesn't accommodate to personal opinions.
The choice is yours.

Meh, kiddie stuff.
It happens to be my dads birthday so he gets a bottle of something intoxicating, kids get a selection box each to keep them quiet for 5 mins and I have look through the DVDs to see if there's anything I can get away with watching. A marathon of extended LOTR or Hobbit films for example...
