Guys: Would you ever rape and murder a girl?

I'm curious to know from a philosophical stand point.... if a person is a psychopath and does not have ability to feel empathy, and if this same person can only gain sexual gratification through rape and murder, what personal reason should he have for not going through with it? [...]

Let me answer with a question: if a person is a psychopath and does not have ability to feel empathy, and if this same person can only gain sexual gratification through rape and murder, what personal reason should they have for not believing, that god approves of their acts - just like many gods approved of many atrocities in the past?

After all - all they have to go by is what society tells them - be it a sincere promise, that if they rape and/or kill someone, they'll suffer dire consequences at the hands of the majority of society, who do feel empathy. Or the promise that if they try not to hurt anyone - they'll live forever in a happy place, where they'll be able to do anything they want... Which in their case is murder and rape... Undecided

Look at ISIS - they do believe they're going to be raping virgins in heaven, if they murder innocent people on Earth. How do you imagine that's supposed to make them understand that murder and rape are unacceptable?

My answer is that human life is sacred and has objective value, regardless of whether a particular individual cares about that person or not. And raping and murdering women is objectively immoral, regardless of whether someone thinks it is or not.

So regardless of whether a person feels empathy or not, they still shouldn't rape/murder people because people have intrinsic value and doing so is objectively wrong.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Thanks for the answer.

The quality of trolls has dropped significantly since the millennials worked out how to fuck themselves.

Trolls are fun.

Only when they go 'under the bridge'.

Eh? Eh?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Really? Most of them are unimaginative and purposefully wasting everybody's time. I'd rather get to know the real person instead of some clown trying to start shit online. It's irritating at best, to me.

I have a weird sense of humor. Unless it's bullying, pranks are always funny to me... even if it's a lame internet troll. I must admit watching people take them seriously and get mad is kinda funny too lol.

If there is no objective value for the life of a human being other than our own personal empathy, what does that mean for the person who does not feel empathy?

It means that he is not welcome in society that values empathy, and that he will be removed should he act out his impulses.

Gabble, gabble, GABBLE!!

Now that's objectively unintelligent!

My reason for not raping and murdering people is that it's socially wrong, and my conscience is tuned to prevent me from doing this.

Maybe if you stopped believing, you may find yourself actually fucking all of the trolls who you've been teasing on this forum?

Well, why wouldn't you do that?

Is it possible that you don't really have the desire to have sex with so many strangers who are particularly nasty?

Maybe then I would not have the desire to kill people, even if I could.
