Episode VII (spoilers)
RE: Episode VII (spoilers)
Yeah, it's extremely clear that Kylo knows who Rey is, and that she's on Jakku. I'm going to see it a third time tonight (basically, whenever I ask anyone I haven't seen for a while (current friend, college friend, brother, mom) to hang out, they're always like "sure! can we see star wars!" and I'm like "hellz yeahhhh dawg")
How will we know, when the morning comes, we are still human? - 2D

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

After re-watching the OT despecialised editions, I'm going to put forward that TFA is the best Star Wars movie ever made. I'd say the best by quite a significant margin, in fact.

En garde!

who says? she has that farm tractor speeder she built from what looks like "Twin Ion Engines" (T.I.E. fighter)
Quote:so well that she can dodge tie fighters in the guts of a star destroyer.
she knew the inside of the star destroyer because that is where she scavenged for parts. If you will not when she was comming to the end of the room she gasped and knew to make a hard right out of a hull breach that we did not know was their till they changed the camera angle. This show indepth knowledge of her surroundings.

Quote: She can fix a spaceship she has only been on for a few minutes better than Han Solo, who presumably knows a thing or two about all the special modifications he made to the ship.
No, she was explaining the modification made by that fat scrap monster to han. If you remember the cave scene who ever left rey on Jakku left her in the care of the fat scrap guy. So I'm sure she was very familiar piloting "his" ship.

Quote: She is sufficiently unfamiliar with a blaster to forget it has a safety, but never misses once she turns it off.
her first shot was a miss...

Quote:She knows she can use the force to influence Daniel Craig without being told force could do that.
After being "forced"/Mind raped by So-Low the "force awakens" in her!
We see in her mind rape scene that she is able to 'extract' info from so-low. So why not parts of his jedi training?
Quote:She knows how to pick up a light saber with telekinesis without being told how to,
So did Luke In ESB!

Quote:and she beats the stuffing out Kylo Ren even though Ren had training enough to to kill all of Luke's other apprentices, while she her self had no training at all.
Chewie blew a huge hole in his side, at best he was fighting at 50% not to mention Finn got a few lighsaber licks in as well
Quote:It sound like she should be training Luke, not the other way around.
Because you know not the ways of the force!

Drich, did you read that fan theory in my hide tag a few pages back? Don't if you don't want to, but if you do, let me know what you think.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

.... i don't know about that...

I will say it is up there with Empire strikes back.

That movie gutted original movie goers, and left you standing there with a 3 year cliff hanger.. Keep in mind that cliffhangers were NOT done back then! everything was tied up in one or two episodes. movies even trilogies did not leave you just hanging. Not to mention their was Always a clean liine between good and bad guys.. Now the main good guy's Dad was the main Bad guy! that was a big deal in of itself because it was strongly believed that the apple never fell far from the tree.

Could you imagine what would happen if you watched rocky 2 and did not find out who won the fight to the end of rocky 3 years later? or if you never witnessed all of these plot devises before and bam get hit with two or three mind benders all at once with no resolution for 3 years?

This movie maybe what empire was to all you ... young punky brewsters but to the one who has towed the line from the start it is just apart of the reason we love this saga so much

ETA: DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'RE COOL WITH BEING PLAGUED WITH THE UNCERTAINTY OF THIS BEING TRUE!!!
but it would be cool to hear some possible holes in this theory. I have found none.

But didn't Ani kill the Emporer? Isn't that what attempted to bring balance to the force? In any case, apparently they both failed.

Perhaps. I didn't exactly grow up on the OT, my childhood was mostly dominated by the prequels (which I now recognise as irredeemable shite from beginning to end). I always hear 'ah it'll never be as good as the originals'. I don't subscribe to that mindset in the slightest, personally. I enjoyed TFA more than any of the others, so it certainly made me happy Tongue
