So much this. I have two-four beers, and if I don't throw down about 2x as much water as beer, I'll have a shitty headache next day.

Wow peanut butter tastes so amazing that it tastes the same coming up?

Well it is delicious but I didn't know it was that amazing.

And we can't say that about turtle nougat now, can we ??

By the way, Napoleon, whatever happened with this? Was it super awkward at work the next day? Did she ever say anything to you?

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Turns out it wasn't what I messaged on the night that was why she was pissed with me.

It was apparently what I said to someone which her friend overheard and proceeded to tell her about.

Long story short, I was being asked whether I would go out with this girl by another couple of colleagues, while pissed I essentially said "nah, she's too childish" and her friend overheard.

I found out on the Monday back what I'd said and went to apologise to her face, stood in front of her entire office and basically said I'm sorry for being a massive cunt. She didn't even look me in the eye as I did this.

She blanked me out for a couple of days, but being the suave motherfucker I am I bought her some chocolates and made her a sorry card. She started speaking to me again after that.

Since Xmas I haven't really spoke to her though, even though we're back on talking terms and were fine (in her words it's all forgotten and we're back to how we were), but quite honestly I couldn't give a shit because as my friend said, her reaction when I went and apologised essentially proved what I apparently drunkenly said on the night of the Christmas party. I understand she was pissed and rightfully so because I acted like a cunt, but when I went to apologise it was literally the most awkward situation I've probably ever been in and she didn't even look at me while I was trying to apologise.

Apparently though her friend told me that the first thing she said when I left the room was "that took balls", and you're damn fucking right it did!

But yolo. Got other fish on my plate, strangely getting super drunk at my Christmas party was the best thing I could have done as now everyone else in the company just thinks I'm a fucking ledge who is pure banter, so much so I've been invited out again this Friday in which I plan on getting absolutely leathered at.

Yeah, whether she was upset at the drunk texts or at what you said to her friend, it's still petty/childish to behave the way she did. Oh well.

What does it mean when British people say something is "banter?"

I did actually send a stoned text to my mate once, all in caps, and went something like:

IDEA FOR BOOK. UNIVERSE IS ALIVE, ANTIBODIES DRIVE MASS EXODUS OF ALIENS TO EARTH. THEY UNITE FOR A FINAL STAND.

Not actually my worst idea, as it goes Tongue

If I keep drinking, the stomach ache also becomes a head ache with dizziness/nausea, and then the vomiting starts. It's like my body just immediately rejects it or something.

So... after giving it several tries during my late high school/early college years, I gave up lol.

Glad to know I'm not the only person this happens to.

Sounds like an alcohol intolerance.  Maybe not quite an allergy, but an intolerance, anyway.
