Islam is by far the biggest threat, not just to America but the entire world. Christianity definitely takes second place.

Not being an American, but given the number of christians vs the number of muslims, I think, they have a point. Even more so, since there certainly are radical christians. Even if you subtract the ones actually doing violent acts, there are fundamentalists having political clout and trying to establish a christian Sharia.

Also here in the states people can legally own guns. So we have many fundie Christians with guns and a persecution complex.

The language is pretty vague in that poll. Threat can be interpreted a bunch of different ways, a threat to our national values or a threat to set off a bomb in time square? Muslims are obviously a bigger threat to commit acts of terrorism, but Christians because of their influence on politics are a bigger threat to freedom of speech (in the US.) Not really a very informative poll.

You have brought up that fact before, if it is the same statistic that I'm thinking of.  That other terrorist groups have done more attacks.  And I keep asking the same question.

Does the statistic take into account actual damage and deaths done within the terrorist attack or is it just counting the number of separate attacks.

I just ask this because you could be misusing a statistic to judge who are dangerous terrorist groups who threaten the US.

Environmental groups might send death threats to companies who experiment with animals and do that 100 times per year, not really a big threat to the US.

On the other 9/11 only happened once and caused millions of dollars and thousands of lives.

That's exactly what he's doing. If you count deaths, which is the most important stat, Muslims are way in the lead.
