The word "christian" has been added to that version of the Bible, as it doesn't exist in the KJV of the Bible.

I was also raised to believe that the only "real" Bible was the KJV.

It also does not include any resurrection stories.

That's just it isn't it? Everyone's a prick, that's just human nature. we've all done something "prickish" at one point, and if you say you haven't.... you're being a prick.

There is a saying that "absolute power corrupts absolutely". That is inaccurate, absolute power doesn't corrupt, absolute power frees you from consequences so that the corruption (which was always there) is made manifest.

Being corrupt with no power gets your ass beat, so we act accordingly.

Apparently it's legit - - the "New Testament" is written in Greek vernacular of the period - - something referred to as "koine".  The "Old Testament" (Septuagint) is an older form . . .    here is the Codex Sinaiticus website: http://codexsinaiticus.org/en/codex/   I'd be interested to know what you think.  My interest is in its age, and the differences with our version.
