If it had not been for my mom's dr appointment, I could have confronted Ben myself when he came to town, but my mom comes first so.

I don't think the atheists win by doing this. The only thing that's sort of nice to see is an atheist standing up and saying "I'm an atheist". After that it goes down hill.

This is really more of a blow to the morale of the atheist movement (if you would consider it a movement). This is the second time I've seen a video like this, and they both end in thunderous applause from the audience. What would be the difference between these actual atheists and someone planted there by the speaker? Both situations give them the chance to pander, and the atheist (and the atheists watching the video) are left with a feeling of being outnumbered. I don't think the time is right.

I would, however, like to see an atheist question Bernie for the pandering and morale points.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Says you. I'm gad Susan B Anthony didn't think like that.

What thunderous applause? Small room, he has nowhere near the amount of supporters as Bernie, and even the GOP is scared of Trump's xenophobic garbage.

Raising our voices does work. I have been at this since 01 on countless websites and can tell you that the atheist voice back then was nothing compared to what it is today.

Raising your voice is, of course, a great thing. I might not be an atheist today if it weren't for atheists voicing their cogent arguments. But if morale is to count for anything, picking your battles can have a great effect. Debates for instance. Or, like you said, do it at a Bernie rally. It's no secret that atheists are hated by a majority in this country; why give them a chance to let us have it, and gain a morale boost for themselves?

I guess there is the off chance that the speaker will say "We have a duty to run this country in a fair and unbiased way", but when you form the question in such a way as to force them to be contrary to their God, their answer will disappoint every time.
