With few exceptions, anyone in the US that is smart and willing to work for it can chase and achieve the American Dream.

Your myth comes from the times after the Civil War and before the great depression. When the industry boomed and the country actually welcomed immigrants.

Few exceptions? You're right about the "chase" part. The "achieve" part is just as hard as in any other country these days. Unless you win the lottery, of course.

The US certainly has its issues just like all countries do. However, this is the best nation on earth from what I have seen and I've been to a lot of places. I haven't been to Australia yet but I am going there in April for a couple of weeks to check it out.

Speaking of traveling, I can afford to travel the world because of the great lifestyle I have in the US. I live in a house so big that people unfamiliar with it get lost inside. I make more than a quarter of a million per year and live very comfortably.

How is this possible? Because in the US you can make a lot of money if you are smart and work hard at a career. It's the American Dream. I'm living it.

I don't think there is a term called the Australian Dream or any other country with the word dream after it.
