I will literally plan a vacation just so I can experience this.  Damn!

Probably engage in sexual relations with "Emily Bloom" and/or "Eufrat" and/or "Lola Myluv".

Or learn to fly a Cessna 172.

I know right!? My brother and I plan to meet there to check it out when it's finished. Don't know if anyone tried out google glass. Kind of cool, but just imagine looking through glasses and having true augmented reality so you could use google maps and see thing pop up in the real world telling you where to go.

Anyone have an opinion on transhumanism. I think it's kind of scary, but seems to be where we are headed.

Almost everything I know I get by staring at a bright rectangle on my desk, and even most of the things I've learned to care about. I'd say we're not headed there-- we've already arrived.

RE: Virtual reality.
I've often been concerned that it's already happening. I'm in VR and I don't know how to get out.

I mean, if you wanted to enter a fully immersive and convincing VR, you can't have an "exit button" floating around everywhere with you, can you?

How do I get out? Can I get out? Did I assume I'd remember how?

I don't see why having an exit route would take anything away from the experience. Otherwise it would just be plain old reality.

RE: Virtual reality.
Rob, Kevin's told me the sequence of moves needed to "get out" of this reality.
It's quite simple really and works for everyone, all the time.

It's to do with walking in front a bus at an opportune moment ... let me know if you need specifics, bus routes, timetables, etc

The only catch is, "out" doesn't lead to anywhere as this VR is all encompassing.
If you're not in the game, then effectively you don't exist.
