It's quite simple really and works for everyone, all the time.

It's to do with walking in front a bus at an opportune moment ... let me know if you need specifics, bus routes, timetables, etc

The only catch is, "out" doesn't lead to anywhere as this VR is all encompassing.
If you're not in the game, then effectively you don't exist.

That's not entirely true. You can pause reality using certain pills.

Agree.
The illusion of pausing is very real to the recipient from the inside.
But we all agree, no one has access to the RTC on the master server.

I'm wondering if I am actually Kevin. He has connected himself seamlessly to the simulation, via the viewpoint of "me".

I presume he (I?) will automatically be returned to his reality when I die and there is no longer a viewpoint.

RE: Virtual reality.
I'm afraid i might create a virtual reality so mesmerising that i wouldnt ever want to leave...

I would live in a small house near a huge river with enormous trees surrounding me. Some small yellow flowers blommed. And if i look far enough i would see huge snowy mountains at the near end of the river. I would have a small golden lamp in my house and at nights with clear skies i would take my lamp and climb a small hill, lay down on a sheet and just enjoy the black sky illuminated with thousands of glowing stars. The gentle breeze would brush over me and i would enjoy my beautiful world as the silence consumes me and slowly push me into a long long uninterupted sleep...with noone to distract me or produce ripples in my alone time i would breathe the country air scented with wet grass and just dissolve into myself.....

Thought this was a funny article:

I would imagine this would be what the movie theaters become when they start showing VR movies.

Rob, you may have just entered the murky mind of a theist! Be careful!
