How can you love a woman without cottoning to her aspirations? Giving her compliments and spending money is what you do in your personal life, and it is also what you're arguing here -- that you cannot be misogynist because you yourself treat women so "well." Have you asked yourself what she wants, as opposed to what you think she wants, or what you tell her she wants?

You're trying to eat your cake and have it too. Forgive my skepticism, but I wonder if you've ever been with a woman, as opposed to a girl.

Dude, fifty years ago "fighting" (which was basically women getting into groups and complaining to get more stuff) for women's rights made sense, because women were denied rights(like the right to vote) . How many times do I have to say (with sources) that not only women have the same rights as men today but enjoy vastly more perks, societal support, law enforcement support,court support THAN men.

No that's simply not true. Not in India or any of the rest of the third world.

Also, calling women's rights activists from 50+ years ago a group of women complaining to get more stuff makes you a bit of a Douchenozzle in my most humble opinion.

Western feminist: "It's simple really, women in Iran,Afghanistan and other third world countries are oppressed so give me more free stuff."

Meaning, all women are not feminists. Meaning, my views on feminism doesn't reflect on my views on the female gender as a whole.

Feminism =/= Women.
Meaning, all women are not feminists. Meaning, my views on feminism doesn't reflect on my views on the female gender as a whole.

Meaning you only like women who won't stand up for themselves. I get it.

Me, I like a strong woman who isn't afraid to speak up for herself -- but then, I'm a strong man. I can take it.

Your mileage obviously varies.

As for your commentary about American women, I just want to point out that you just labeled us "free". Have you stopped and asked yourself why we're called that? Might it not be because of movements like the women's movement, or the civil rights movement?

Getting into groups and complaining...like what you have been doing this WHOLE time, except all alone (but I am sure there are groups and forums for men who feel the same). Why put a negative spin on it if you believe it was necessary?!

On paper. In the same way as slaves have been liberated in 1865. Women still get lesser pay than men in the same position, have less opportunities to rise through the ranks and still are subjected to sexism. Even presidential candidates feel the need to promote their view of women.

There's still quite a lot to fight for. Not as much as in Afghanistan, I give you that, but that's cold comfort.

I have no problem with feminism. I am by definition a feminist, as well as a masculinist, or whatever the phrase would be. I just don't feel the need to highlight subsections of my very straightforward position.

I do have a problem with many feminists. As in, some specific people who identify as feminists. I have a problem with those people. Not because they are feminists, but because they talk utter shit. I am likely to have a problem with specific people from any kind of self-identified group.
