People can fly off the handle all they want; it isn't going to help anything. Acting like they have the superiority over words when they don't know the history behind the person who said them is a very bad thing indeed, and it'll just lead to more arguments. If someone confronts me angrily about me using a certain word, I'll make sure to tell them that I wasn't aware it would cause them offense, since it's a word I've been using all my life.
It doesn't take much to simply ask someone not to use those words. I don't see any benefit in getting angry over it.

Porch Monkey is a term that is common where I live. It's meant to be as offensive as it sounds. It refers to the stereotype that black people tend to sit on their porches along the city streets downtown. I cringe when I hear someone use that term.

Yeah, I know that now. Maybe I wasn't clear, but when I meant saw this film, I meant when it came out.

It's funny that you said that, Eil. I had heard the term, but I had no idea what it meant. I knew it was meant to be offensive, though.

I'm very PC. I treat all Limeys, Micks, Hebes, Fat Dagos, Niggers, Honkies, Chinks, wetbacks, and Chavs equally.
Best regards,
