Actually that would be your fellow atheists, who are in the habit of making ignorant statements and being schooled on a regular basis. Whether the subject is on how bees reproduce, the scientific method, the proper use of the words "except", "possession", and "exactly, what secularism means, and the difference between a servant and slave; all you atheists do is display your ignorance and the sad part is google is right at your fingertips.

As I've stated, all the stories in the bible are telling you about Jesus Christ through symbology, and I've took the time explained at least three different scenarios only to have it go in one ear and out the other.

You're not interested in learning anything (none of you are knowledgeable enough to discuss the bible let alone the above subjects I've mentioned) , you're only interested in creating a circle jerk that will last in perpetuity. You would think that someone who held the belief that an afterlife doesn't exist, would spend his time doing something meaningful, but at some point you just have to leave the ignorant to their ignorance.

So when the 1067th thread pops up about Noah, count me out.

Exactly what is "ignorant" about what we say?

The fact that our species is much older than any religion?
The fact that humans didn't have our modern understanding of science back then?
The fact that the planet is 4 billion years old and much older than humans?
The fact that the universe is 14 billion years old?
The fact it takes 1 ray of light 100,000 years at the speed of light to cross our galaxy?
The fact our galaxy is full of billions of suns?
The fact that the universe is full of 100s of billions of galaxies?

"Ignorance" is clinging to old claims out of a false sense of comfort and ego. Accepting that this is it and that humans are NOT important to all this, is not ignorance.

Arrogance is clinging to old and bad claims based on naked assertions.

Have you ever compared and contrasted the Noah and Lot stories?

What I can see from these various threads, it is you that needs schooled on the bible.

What part of that doesn't make perfect sense?

I thought Adam ate the fruit? Now I'm confused, I'll just have to rewrite the bible again to straighten out everyone's confusion. But this is the LAST edition, okay? We'll just call it Christian protestant pootherans or something.

So....Whose with me!! Just remember the more the numbers we have is an objective measurement of truth. Like 3000 enrolled or so people agreeing to this new branch or Christianity should make it true give or take a couple hundred.

I don't believe there is an afterlife and I've accepted my life is a waste of time. And I accept death with full humility to that fact when it comes. I will care no more about being dead as I had no care before I was born. Plus, I find it reasonable to conclude that the whole earth and our entire history is MEANINGLESS when compared to the cosmos.

Now is that a bad thing? Depends on perspective. I find it relieving, takes the pressure off to have to have meaning and simply exist for what it is. No more lies about it being any more or any less. Such an arrogant species we are.....

First of all, bitch, I am always willing to learn anything that has the adequate evidence to support it belongs in the realm of reality.

Secondly, all one needs to believe that the bible is truth is a propensity toward gullibility. Knowledge of the bible, however, rationally leads in a completely different direction, for knowledge is about understanding reality rather than comfortably accepting a delusion.

Yeah, every Christian tells us what the bible "really means". It's just that they all tell us something different.
