Valar Morghilis.
And particularly because one is a Stark.
I'm pretty sure Sansa won't die, unless everyone dies(Valar Morghulis indeed), which, by the way, is a possibility I've pondered given GRRM's taste for the tragic. She's evolved as a character and is willing to see the world for what it is. Such figures tend to stick around.
I was tempted to say next that Theon and Jaime will surely die and for a valiant cause at that, but... I don't know, they're both maimed and have dark pasts to boot. They might achieve their redemptions in other manners. Normally, you would think their better counterparts, Tyrion and Davos, would be the ones to prevail and the other two would be killed off, but... The juxtaposition of good/bad characters might just last to the bitter end, in which case all of them will surely continue to evolve in opposite directions... And that means Jon might indeed become a White Walker, SC's earlier typo notwithstanding(or simply stay dead, much cleaner and more likely if I'm right about this) and Daenerys a wrathful queen who'll put the Doom of Valyria to shame once she's done with the Seven Kingdoms. As for Tyrion...- I have no idea.
I'm just rambling at this point. Haven't thought it through yet. But one thing is for sure, I neither expect nor want what might be called a happy ending. It will simply be a just one... The dull, superficially satisfying kind of just. Like the sort of justice Stannis imparted.

Then I'm not familiar what you're suggesting. Or it's sufficiently cryptic that I do not recognize it.

Great things seem to be expected of certain bastards in this story... And all dwarves are bastards in their father's eyes.
I don't want to spoil it for you, but it does seem rather obvious, so think about Tyrion some more and you might get it.

Are you talking about the fan theory that Joanna Lannister and King Aerys are Tyrion's true parents, making Tyrion a Targaryen?
If so, I've always considered that far fetched. Although I do believe that Tyrion will be one of the three riders. Bran/Jon, Dany, and Tyrion.

Bran won't be riding any dragons, he's a warg and he's got entirely other business to tend to. Not to mention he's still a kid. It simply doesn't fit.
As for that "fan theory"(they're all fan theories) you seem to be so quick to dismiss... I was merely made aware of it, and then I rewatched the first four seasons of GoT just recently... And to me, it's pretty obvious that he's a Targaryen, I don't care and don't know who his parents were though. Though, yes, that much would have to be true, that he's both a Lannister and a Targaryen.
Think hard about his circumstances, origins and his familial dynamics and then compare them to Jon's own. You'll notice a pretty startling, albeit inverted resemblance there, no doubt. Think about his interest in dragons. Do you really think all that flak he got for his mother's dying while giving birth to him amounts to nothing?

He's gone all the way to the three eyed raven for what, then? North of even Hardhome. He's learning how to become the greatest warg of all time, to "ride" a dragon.

I have nothing against fan theories, in fact my favorite fan theory concerns Jon's parentage.
There are a lot of reasons to believe Tyrion is Aerys' son. Especially if you've read the books:
1) Tywin once says "I can't prove you're not my son"
2) Aerys fucked over Tywin all throughout his time in King's Landing, and Aerys is said to have been jealous of Tywin.
3) Tywin not only betrayed his King, he then killed all of his offspring (or so he thought) as retribution for
4) Tyrion has two different colored eyes, one black and one green.
5) Tywin is smart enough to know that Tyrion is not to blame for his mother's death, but he still hates him, maybe because he suspects his parentage.
6) Tywin's dying words are "You're not my son."
The reason I don't believe it: it's too fucking obvious. GRRM never lays stuff out there like that. Jon's parentage requires a very close reading, and even still you could miss it. In fact, GRRM often lays red herrings out there to make you think one thing, then he'll pull the rug out from under you.
The other reason is Young Griff. He's a character that we didn't meet in the show, but he has a bigger role that I think Tyrion will end up playing in the show.

That's funny. You think Tyrion is the more obvious case. That's really funny, given the fact that by this point maybe 2 billion people heard of the fact that Snow is a Targaryen.
Oh, the irony.
