But that's it, I don't think he did influence the past so much as he was just following what was fated for him to do. Wylis was Hodor long before Bran was ever born. The cause of Wylis becoming Hodor was always Bran, it just hadn't happened to Bran yet. I also think this is kind of a super rare thing, so I wouldn't worry about it becoming tiresome, especially now that Bran will be scared shitless of trying to interact in the past for now.

Or tempted to try it again to make other changes? I agree what what's done is done, so anything he does will already have the consequences played out, but he may not realize that. Bran may turn out to be the "cause" for some other interesting things as well. Hey also, do you guys think that guy the children of the forest turned into a white walker in the past vision WAS a Stark Ancestor? #FanTheoryConfirmed?

If he does try it again, I'm thinking yeah, he's just following fate. What's done is done, the ink is dry and all that. The illusion of free will and overall determinism of the universe. As for the Stark thing, there's no way to tell that from the episode unfortunately. In the books the Night King is supposedly the 13th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, which was obviously only formed after the Wall went up, which was after the White Walkers were around for a while.

I have never cared for writers attempting to make sense of paradoxes with their plot twists. Even with Doctor Who, there's at least a rule set in place to avoid the paradox situation.
