Prostitution should be legal.

1. 9/11 was an inside job.

2. The 2011 Syrian uprising was a US-Israel plot to oust Assad.

3. The Multiverse hypothesis is a basically a kind of philosophy for atheists, not actual science.

4. Psych medications are bad for you. People should be more wary of antipsychotics and avoid taking them unless they seriously need them.

5. Trump is fit to be a president. He may be eccentric, but not crazy.

There's more, but I'd like to keep it short.

.....ok I don't really truly believe that but there is a tiny part of me that thinks about it sometimes.

And you think that rapists are not monsters . . . ?  -- Not trying to pick a fight with you, Losty, but rapists are my "worst monsters in the universe".  The folks who beat children and animals (and women!) are a distant second in my book.  And yeah, I have days when I completely agree with the above statement.  (Mass murderers who would probably go into evil #3 - - I guess that relegates preachers to evil #4 - -  Rolleyes )

I have been known to assert to a therapy group that all rapists should die by crucifixion.  Publicly televised crucifixion.  And their penises should be cut off and shoved WAY up their asses.  After the nailing.  Then the therapist had the nerve to say that if I de-humanized rapists to the point that I advocate death by slow torture, I was as bad as they are.  The nerve!!!    Angry

I'm not, am I?  It's just a fantasy, right?     Sad

So yeah, I can profess to be a tame little pacifist who is against the death penalty - - but I have my controversial bloodthirsty moments.

Don't be fooled into thinking I don't have the same thoughts about rapists and murderers sometimes. I never think any of these thoughts are useful or rational.

If it makes you feel any better I don't think any human beings are monsters.

Oh, the irony of a Muslim Trump supporter.

I am not. Wink

I've already discussed before 3 out of the 5 things that I posted (about 9/11, psych medications, and the multiverse hypothesis).

You ever entertain the possibility that avoiding the psych medication is what led you to those conclusions?

How do you have a rational discussion with someone who irrationally dismisses all evidence that they are wrong?

This is semi-true. But it's not the full truth. It can be said that US-Israel would be thrilled for Assad to be overthrown and anti-hizbollah government to form. And it can be said that US-Israel supported the wrong people, and wrong way AFTER the uprising which at the end back lashed against them. And it can be said that US supported an organization that outwardly claims to be moderate but in reality formed the crazy non-moderate organization with the funding from US and it's allies.
Don't mix up all that stuff to belittle this fact. It was hijacked by US and this was what Iran and Hezbollah always meant. They always say it started out as a revolution by people but then it was quickly hijacked.
There is no doubt Iran and Hezbollah are wrong to support Assad. But he is the lesser of the evils, but being the lesser of evils, doesn't always mean there isn't alternative.
In this situation, Iran and Hezbollah did sacrifice principle for their interest.  But show me  who stoke to principles all the way through?
No one has so far. Everyone at the end goes for their interest and end up sacrificing universal principles for them.
No matter what democracy is or freedom, even if that was the goal, and there was no ulterior motive to attack Hezbollah or cut off supplies to them, and that being the primary goal...was it worth all the blood, the refugees, the country being destroyed?
