EU: Should the UK Leave or Stay?

Special relationship and all that.

Commonwealth and the rest of the entire world. And there's nothing stopping us from renegotiating with European countries or any other countries at all. People act as if the UK leaves the rest of the world suddenly vanishes and no one would want to deal with one of the biggest economies in the world, with the world's literal financial centre, London.

Oh yes, the galant island renegotiating. Hope it doesn't take too long. Especially when there's no interest in the island cherry picking as the EU sadly got used to.

Because he's an EU fanboy who doesn't like the fact that people are waking up and realising the EU is a sinking fucking ship.

I can't wait to see our country independent from the EU and prospering, it'll be a massive fuck you to these brainwashed dimwits.

Bitter? Just realistic I would say. Do you really thing the UK wouldn't go bootlicking the next US president in favor of what every prime called the special relationship? Do you really think the ordinary pub population would profit when leaving the EU?

If the answer to all these questions is yes, I leave you to your delusions.

Oh yes, I'm a big fanboy. So much so that I would want to see it break down sooner rather than later in it's current state. It's only that I'm not entirely blind to economics and I know what is involved when any single country wants to leave. Duties, subsidies and in many cases currency.

I just leave it at that the ordinary people would be much worse off, since there would be bills to pay. And you can bet your ass it wouldn't be the big fucks opening their wallets. It would be you.

Stay. Besides the NHS the only good thing about this country is the fact we're part of Europe. We already hold onto our currency and refuse to change to euros because this country is full of the virus that is nationalism.

If we leave the EU, that's fucking pathetic.

I was very impressed with Obama's speech.

I don't care what his motivations were. All that matters is whether he made valid points. And they were persuasive to me. The "leave" arguments have not been, and often seem to hinge on emotion.

My position is still that the likely damage must be "worth" the benefits of fucking off from the EU. Currently, I don't think the damage is worth it. We're not being offered a time machine. Whether or not it was a good idea in the first place is now irrelevant.

Obama shouldn't be getting involved in the first place. Napoleon made a great point earlier. Let me see if I can find the exact quote.
