Why the assumption that everyone has to support a political party? Going out on a limb there, but I guess many of us pinch their noses and vote for what they consider the lesser evil. I can't remember supporting any party since my early 20ies.
Well, not necessarily supports but votes for. As you say the lesser evil - apologies should have made it more clearer in my post. So yeah, I know you're not a UK resident, but I'll ask anyway - who do you choose in your country? Or maybe you don't vote at all. If you would be alright with revealing that, of course.
I don't support any political parties either. I honestly don't think anyone in my country's government or any of the opposition is fit to lead the country. No party seems to align with my views.
My post record seems to be suggesting that I belong to the right of the political spectrum, but that is definitely not the case. Or not that I think anyway.

Oh, I vote. Mostly for the Green party, since they don't hurt anyone and are for social equality and against the extreme right. Not because I subscribe to all they stand for, but they at least don't make me barf my guts out.

Suffice to say there's one point, and only one point, I agree upon with our resident rightwinger who just won the first round of the presidential elections. And that point is TTIP. I think, we would be fucked royally if this is signed. That however doesn't give me even a second's pause to not vote for that guy, since everything else he stands for goes totally against my grain.

I vote for Labour because first of all they have the greatest chance of beating the Tory bastards and as idealistic as I am I always strive to be more practical and realistic than idealistic.

They kissed Dave's ass after all. But I see the problematic already, since you have a majority suffrage, while our's is proportional.

I voted Labour every time except last time when I voted Lib Dem and I never intend to vote Lib Dem again.

Labour will not be in power again for a number of years. No chance of winning the next general election. People will end up voting Tory as always. Sorry to say but they have zero chance.

As realistic and practical as I am, and regardless of the fact that I try to always try to strive to be more practical and realistic than idealistic, I still never fucking give up.
