As an atheist, what angers you?

As a Muslim, I get furious and sad, so sad, when people teach their children about the "void" that eats us when we die; the dark shadowy pit that hugs our desperate lost souls, in an eternal coma that we would never wake up from, also that everybody goes to that void; the good, the bad, everybody, the thing about morals:
-Mommy ! why should I have morals, if the void is going to eat me anyways? -Baby! have them so people might respect you and treat you good too ! -But Mommy! If I cheat every once and a while, it's okay right? I mean WHO CARES? THE MEAN JUSTIFIES THE METHOD! The void eats em all..Good, bad, kind, evil, etc. So, technically that is, equalizing criminals, with soccer moms.Eventually, all of them lay down in the soil, drenched in the void, so dark, so "doesn't exist". But hell, judgement, heaven...that seems fair. It seems fair to see the commiters of Hiroshima and Nagasaki pay. It seems fair to see the criminals of WW2 pay. It seems fair to see serial killers pay. It seems fair to see pedophiles pay. It seems fair to see the saudi royal family pay. It seems fair to see the pain of poor people rewarded. It seems fair to see another life for those who lived under the truck in this one, because some fat cats decided to take their wealth to grow fatter and fatter. I never said you shouldn't be, enjoy it all you want, it's none of my business how you get your jollies. I'm just wondering what makes your enjoyment of someone's suffering any different from that of the person you're exacting revenge upon. Why does sadism become acceptable when it's done for the sake of revenge?
