Well, not over here and the majority of the world (especially South Africa, all that white privilege, right?) I like you too, Losty. But I strongly disagree with this concept of "white privilege". I think it's pure fantasy.

I always correct people there grammer when I see its necessary because I spend so much time to grammer learn meself and I dont want them to have easier. If foreign peoples like I can it, you can can it to.

You did say racism against white people is kind of silly.  White people live all over the world your statistics only took into consideration America.
It's like if I live in a part of Africa where rich black people live and say racism against black people is pretty silly, speaking as a person who lives around rich black people, they have it great.

Also just to add again those statistics don't necessarily prove anything about racism, incarceration rates and education rates among Asians is better in America also and they're none white but commit less crimes, place a higher importance on Education and have higher IQ scores.  Especially Chinese, Korean and Japanese Asians.

The stats are actually pretty self evident as a US national. The only major racism I know against Asians is that they generally have "small penises" which leads to the males being less desirable in the dating pool. So the data is inline with the racial bias. 


Your argument for Asians would work if people held a negative view about their acuity in those areas. But that's not the case.

I guess you didn't grow up asian after a world war, Korean war and vietnam in the 70 and 80s. It was like being from one of those 'terrorist countries' now without any prohibition on what people could say about you or do to you in that time.

Being 'Asian' didn't become cool till after 9/11. Before then there was a long standing "They'll take your job" negative view in this country when asian did seek higher education. Everyone wanted a Mr. mayagi or Mr.moto sterotype to deal with, and they pressed hard to force people into those rolls.

I can say it with full confidence, because I was the light skinned son -well; compared to the rest around me-, I was treated better by society, people who were whiter than me got better and better treatment, and above them all sits the European/American man/lady, waiting to get showered withflowers by poor darker skinned Arabs, worshiping the white shiny skin.

Actually, you can see a portion of Arab girls (and Africans too) dye their hair in blonde, use "Fair & Lovely" cream, and spend hours and hours to look more white. They call it "the khawaga complex" over here or literally "the western man complex"; that is people who want to look western; in terms of physical appearance.

All Arabs have it with different degrees, but it is the most terrible in Egypt. White people are almost worshiped there, you can totally see it in tourism places, and usually locals & Arabs have no privileges compared to white Europeans.

You can see -as an example- the "Khawaga complex" manifesting in such videos; where you find Arabs/Egyptians trying so desperately to prove that they are white:

I think Mediterranean and Middle Eastern people throw racial categorizations askew tbh. You can't cleanly categorize them because they're brown enough that they're distinct from Northern Europeans, but then not quite black either. And fucking diverse, to boot. I don't think there's another race where you can find such variation in skintones and features. It ends up with Middle Easterners and North Africans being tacked onto either "white race" or "black race" when theoretically they don't fit into either.

With that said, general preference for lighter skin has been observed in many different cultures and it always long predates colonialism. All Asian cultures were worshipping the (relatively) lighter skinned in their societies long before they had seen what Europeans looked like. I think it's bullshit historical revisionism when people claim that notions of "light skin superiority" are purely a European construct, and that non-Europeans are incapable of being racist as fuck on their own.

I can't with salty debates about what race the ancient Egyptians were though, when it's so fucking obvious. They went to great lengths to depict Europeans as very fair-skinned and Nubians as very dark-skinned, with themselves in the middle in various shades of brown and "olive" skintones. In other words, exactly the same as modern Egyptians, Europeans and black Africans. Shit's changed.

Yeh lots of none white people dye their hair blonde.

lot's of white people go out in the sun and scorch their skin to bronze themselves to look more toned and attractive risking skin cancer and premature agin., they even buy sunbeds or just spray themselves to make themselves look less white.

White, black, yellow and brown privilege exists.
