What an extreme dissonance between what they claim to aspire to and what they actually carry out, when they have permission to do as they please. I don't doubt that they would still be burning heretics and political opponents at the stake if they weren't physically prevented from doing it.

Trump’s higher ed proposals could leave poor students out of college

The major theme that emerged from the information he provided was that as president, Trump would improve student success by reforming the federal student loan program in two ways: 1) change the student loan program so as to provide more incentives for colleges and universities to enroll students who will be successful and earn enough money upon graduation to pay back their loans; and 2) to return the federal loan program to its pre-Obama status by having the loans come from private lenders, rather than the federal government.

Republicans introduce 'improving child nutrition' bill that would take food away from 3.4 mil kids

The law would raise the Community Eligibility Provision of the 2010 Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act from a 40 percent threshold up to a 60 percent threshold. What this means is that communities would need to have 60 percent of its population living at or below the poverty line in order for their school to be able to apply. The provision is used to simplify the process of getting children who need free lunch. 

You gotta admit that these republicunts understand that the "Improving Child Nutrition and Education Act" bill sounds a lot better than the "Let the Little Fuckers Starve" bill.  Advertising they understand, if not humanity.

Honestly, as a fifty-year-old man, I rather like the ring of "Let the Little Fuckers Starve". That's something I might could get behind.
