The funnier part is when the believer doubles down on their stupidity and disavows Hitler as an Atheist instead of the obvious pious Christian man he was.
If the hypothetical idea of an afterlife means more to you than the objectively true reality we all share, then you deserve no respect.

He wasn't a pious Christian. He was almost certainly a theist, but he didn't attend services or otherwise abide by any Christian doctrine.

Politicians regularly use the religion of their country for political ends. Given that Mein Kampf was screed, it certainly belongs in that category. He was certainly a theist. But calling him a "pious Christian" is unsupported and at times strongly contradicted by his table-talk, his tolerance of paganism in his inner circle, his attempts to suborn all churches under the rubric of Gleichschaltung, and so on. Sometimes a guy just ain't Scottish. Perhaps you've got support for your claim that he was a pious Christian aside from his political screed? I'll be happy to look anything you've got over. 
And other thing about Stalin is that he was a Communist. I mean I've seen recently books and videos attacking people who defend guys that were blacklisted in Hollywood, by saying those people were indeed promoting communism. Like this video
People think that if someone is communist he automatically wants gulags, because "communism is evil" it sprouts gulags. As if Capitalism can't be evil and kill millions of people. This kind of stupid generalization has been plaguing countries like US for decades now. Like wars in Vietnam, Korea, Nicaragua or even Chile - "Oh now look at that kid, he's communist he wants gulags *bang*. Because at the end of the day it's not about any -ism but the corruption and people that are allowed to be above the law. Even Commies can't escape having ruling class that take advantage of workers. It's always pretty much the same shit.
