Anyone who threatens me or trespasses on my property.

What if they had a bigger gun? Or more guns?
Where would you keep your gun? Locked away safely, or loaded under your pillow?
So anyone who goes onto your property (a civil matter in almost all cases), deserves to have a gun waved in their face, or be potentially killed for a minor offence? Jeez, if I saw someone in my garden, I would simply ask them what they were looking for.

This only leads to escalation and the American problem. More guns can't the answer in any civilised society. There will always be people who commit crimes or try to get a step ahead. No amount of guns will prevent this.
