What should I do if I'm being forced to go to a Christian School?

I can understand how dependent teenagers are on their parents for basic survival.

However, at my age, if there is one thing I have learned it is that given an opportunity to be young again and knowing what I now know, I would speak my mind regardless of the circumstances.

That would probably just encourage them to preach harder.

Listen, until you're 18, there's not much you can do.  What you need to do is keep your head down, do the best you can with the bullshit, and do what I told you to do in another thread: begin saving money for a car while making plans to leave your house when you turn 18.

Just about everything you do between now and your 18th birthday should be about getting the resources and opportunities required to leave home.  That's the only way you'll find peace.

Listen, until you are 18, you have to live where your parents tell you to live, go where they tell you to go, and go to the school they choose for you.  And whatever the school, if you want a good future career you will need decent grades.  

Antagonizing religious parents and teachers will not help you in any way.  -- And it will make life at home very unpleasant.

I agree with those that say put your head down and get what you can from the school and lie if it helps .... note those studying religion as freethinkers are armoring our cause into the future .... Knowing their dogma makes it easier to debunk ... God will not punish you for lying about your beliefs to bigots as he doesn't exist

Don't you home school now? Shit, if it were me I'd do everything I could to get out of home school. I'd pick christian school in a heart beat. Real teachers (accredited, they have real teachers right? this is not a bunch of parents getting together and calling themselves a school, is it?), social interaction, extra curricular activities, out of the house and away from mom. Let me say that again, OUT OF THE HOUSE AND AWAY FROM MOM.

So, ya just don't play along with all of the indoctrination bullshit. Don't be anti enough to get kicked out, take an "I'm undecided" position as often as possible.

Good point. Home schooled vs Christian school changes things a lot.

You will learn many more social skills by going to a school. Either that or learn how to fight.

I really hope they don't force you. If they do, I hope it turns out not to be too bad.

Do you actually get qualifications in bible study, or whatever? At least you don't have to worry about getting good grades in that and you can concentrate on real subjects.
