Not even close, my dear friend.

Hot Flash...
Google says :> Hot flashes are one of the most common complaints of menopause, as the periods of intense heat, warm skin, and sweating are uncomfortable. They can be triggered by tight clothing, stress, or consuming alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods.

Definitely nothing to do with flash photography... ooops!! Tongue

Should be some hormonal imbalance... Can it be eased up by some pill? or injection like with diabetes?

No, Iggs, that's a fleshlight.

- Look at this Charles. It's a new book called 'Why men don't listen and women can't read maps'.
- What are you talking about Edna, of course I can read a map.

Well there is HRT - short for Hormone Replacement Therapy. However, HRT has been shown in studies to cause cancer. With my family history, I think I'll pass on that. The problem is, is that my great grandmother, grandmother and my mother all had full hysterectomies before they were 30 years old so no one really knows when the women in our family start to go into menopause. My sister never had any kids so I can't even consider her issues with that. Unfortunately I haven't talked to my mother or anyone from that side of the family for nearly 8 years so getting family history from them now is impossible.

I was diagnosed at age 40, as being perimenopausal. I'm 46 now and I don't see any relief in sight. Here is more information: It's sorta TMI so I put it in hide tags.

I have discussed my issues with my doctor. We'll see in time what happens.

CIJS,

I think that learning mathematical proofs is one of the most rewarding endeavors that I have ever tackled.  In particular, I'm strongly considering teaching myself real analysis (I've already started reading Introduction to Real Analysis by Michael J. Schramm): the material is awesome and the ideas and concepts seem so cool, despite the fact that they are very challenging and will give even the brightest of minds a run for their money.

CIJS, you're there for me when I need you. When I touch you, you sing out. When I'm sad, you hear me and comfort me. When I'm happy, you raise the rafters.

Gosh, I love my little Blondie.
Be well, and do good work.

When people say age is just a number, they must think hangover is another word for 32.

CIJS,

I remember when I was younger, a teenager in high school, and I first laid my eyes on your beautiful face at church. You were absolutely gorgeous, the kind of man I liked even though you could not have been much more than at least ten years older than me at the time. I usually always liked them older, except even then I had my age limit; I did not like them "grandpa" old. You certainly were no grandpa; in fact, you looked like you had just graduated from college. So maybe you were not quite as much as ten years older than me.

However old you were, I was infatuated with you, I could never take my eyes off of you when I saw you at church. I wonder if anyone else ever noticed the attention I gave you; I wonder if the woman who was always at your side, she looked and behaved more like a fag-hag, a beard, than a girlfriend. I wonder if she ever noticed the attention I was giving you. Did she ever tell you? I do not know, because you never looked my way, or if you ever did it was during those brief moments I was not looking at you.

I was shy back then, something I never really outgrew. I did not know how to approach you, and you never approached me. I continued to gaze upon you with horny reverence until I left that small town and never returned. Sometimes, looking back, I wonder what could have been.

Cijs -
Fuck off you miserable, whiny, piece of shit. Every day that you continue to act like a douche bag is another day you destroy any chance of fixing what is wrong. Get help before you lose all of us for good.
