CIJSAIJBH, I think name calling is one of the laziest ways of showing a person you're mad and that you want them to feel as mad as you do.
Name calling is a weapon that lights up the room, illuminating the user much more than the receiver.
There's a lot of highly intelligent people who seem to be completely dumb to this idea.

I think long distance relationships can help clarify and solidify the non-superficial aspects of a relationship.  Just my two cents worth.

I've always felt this way. I assume you mean long-distance relationships can often, strangely, be less superficial?

The way I see it is... love has no distance to it but many other things do.

Hard to imagine a tougher sell, despite the price. Even offering someone money to live there isn't feasible, the thing is a black hole for repairs. And in all the years it's been there, no one has ever tried to fix the original problem. Oh, yeah, that's right, it CAN'T be fixed. Just more and more band aids to hide all the problems.

Why do people assume that we’re missing out if we don’t have the normal? Sure, I’ve known what butterflies feel like before, but I’m a realist. There are things that you only experience once in life, maybe twice. Some of us are cool with that and we find pleasure in the other things in life. Why does that have to sound pessimistic?
