I feel a bit relieved.

RE: I feel a bit relieved.
This is what happens when people are so firmly entrenched that they think even atheists believe in God, but are making some sort of conscious decision to "deny" God. The kind of thinking that cannot escape from its tiny box. The very idea someone might actually disagree is incomprehensible.

Yes, exactly. So, how can someone like Ricky discuss the subject with an open mind when he can't even accept his opponent's point of view is what they say it is? Oh, that's right...[emoji39]

Don't be ridiculous Camus.  Smile

1) If you really think that I talk rubbish you should go through the various posts and see how many times
atheists blame God for this or that.

If you don't understand the reasons why atheists bring up the attrocities attributed by various gods in religious texts by now, no further attempts at explaining it to you are going to help.

Quote:2) Most atheists keep on saying that there is no God (without evidence of course).

How long have you been here?

Most atheists do not say there is no god. The majority of atheists take the position that theists have not met their burden of proof for their case that there is a god.

Thus, we do not have to provide any evidence, since we are not making any claims.

I know for a fact that this have been explained to you many, MANY times. Either you are too dense to get it, or you are intellectually dishonest. Neither reflects very well on you.

Quote:If that is the case why these atheists swear to someone that doesn't exist?

Colloquial speech.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
