Isn't it interesting how many of the GOP 'defectors' refusing to vote for Trump come from the security/intelligence community, as well as the military? And isn't it interestingly predictable that many of Trump's supporters either don't give a shit about or are oblivious to this trend?

What, now national security expertise is considered elitist on the right, too, and therefore Bubba doesn't have to listen to what they have to say?

This is in keeping with the national trend which is that Drumpf does better with uneducated voters.

I've been an active Republican for all of my adult life. That this venerable political party, once home to visionary thinkers and leaders, could hand its presidential nomination to Trump, who seems not to know how much he doesn't know and could not care less, is unfathomable to me. It is unfortunate that so many of those who claim to be leaders of the congressional and presidential wings of the Republican Party have long since made their Faustian bargains and are actively endorsing a totally self-centered know-nothing who behaves like the caricature of a banana-republic dictator.

I have to admit that the smart republicunts can at least string together a coherent sentence.
