Okay, I believe you when you say a lot of Texans are against the move but if the majority did support the move and the US didn't give them independence, well let's just say that would be undemocratic to say the least.

I am quite tempted to support a #texit movement, in fact I had a dream yesterday that Texas got independence and all citizens got permits to obtain and use nukes, for self defense of course. But I have to resist my temptation, not only because it'd be idiotically pointless but also because self preservation comes first
