Americans are only as stupid as it wants it to be. You guilt yourself and are being used by the elite establishment to fight globalist wars. Of course you have trouble taking care of school and education then, you are being used and laughed at by ignorant snobby europeans who they themself are also in someway being used by EU, although UK has noticed its effect and wanted out due to what it planned to do to it.
The answer, dont trust establishment elite power with too much power or else you will get exploited.

It just got a whole lot easier to do with the UK, too.

Haha, real 'Muricans don't care what happens outside the US. I've gotten all my Brexit news from European news outlets. The special articles explaining Brexit especially for the Americans make me laugh a little though.
The Leave voters have screwed over the UK, no? And David Cameron and Nigel Farage resigned their leadership posts - just like rats abandoning a sinking ship. They won't touch the poisoned chalice.
I wouldn't be surprised if the UK doesn't actually leave the EU in the end.
