The problem is not IS. The problem is a frustrated and disturbed 17 year old who took the first source of identity and outlet for his anger he could find. Are you seriously suggesting that this kid going on a train and start swinging an axe was islamic terrorism?

The remedy for that is not cracking down on muslims, but helping disenfranchised kids get a sense of self-worth by offering them a perspective in life. Works the same way for all the 17 year old "Nazi terrorists" we have throwing molotovs on refugee camps.

If that isn't religion, I don't know what is... What is happening in the west is just minor collateral damage compared to ground zero... It'll sort itself out eventually. They just need to sort out who's imaginary flavour of God is better, that's all.

Ok, so without the potential negative influence of religion, what else would he have done to relieve his anger?
Go to a prostitute? Kick a rubbish bin on the way home? Etc.

What on earth did all the disenfranchised muslims do 20-30 years ago?
Or are they now being told that they are already disenfranchised and need to act! So basically, muslims using muslims to achieve an end ... I s'pose old habits are hard to break.
