If you're looking for proof that something isn't the word of God, you're approaching things entirely backwards. This is called the "argument from ignorance" fallacy. I think I already posted a video explaining this, but I'll put it up again for you to show why this method is flawed:
The sensible thing it to begin with the claim, and then examine the available evidence to determine whether the claim is most likely true.
In this case, a book being "the word of God" is something I don't believe could possibly be tested. What is the criteria?
The book is, however, entirely consistent with what we would expect from a load of people around that point in history trying to make sense of the world around them. They filled in the gaps in their knowledge with a magical father figure. Exactly as they do today. It's just that the gaps that God is squeezed into are shrinking by the day as science advances further and further. If we don't have an explanation yet, "I don't know" is fine. There's no need to make up explanations.
If God tried to communicate with us and chose this method, he made about the worst choice possible. He is a total idiot, and he should have known it would be indistinguishable from books of fairy tales. It's not even internally consistent, it's plagued with continuity errors and contradictions. And it contains nothing useful at all.

King James had many people tortured and executed for witchcraft. Two women in particular who where accused of trying sink James ship using magic. I think a biblical translation supervised by that irrational twit is the perfect bible for atheists to quote when arguing with believers.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

The fact that versions and translations exist at all is a bit of a giveaway that we're dealing with a very shitty message delivered by humans to humans.
Either god wants us to be confused and to disagree even to the point of killing each other over it while he watches, or he's just incapable of communicating properly. Either way, I'm not too impressed.
Not that I'd care anyway. Even god has to tell me why I should act a certain way before I'll consider it.

The King James version of the Bible really is the only true word of God.
This has been proven over and over again.
I've never read anything that can disprove the KJV isn't real. Having read other Bibles you can see they do not compare as the KJV actually comes from the scriptures and tells you the real words of God and unlike other Bibles the words were translated correctly and not changed to fit other religions dogma.
I will pray for you all.
The Mormon reboot is more interesting.
But then, I'm just waiting for the movie to come out.
Well the first two books of it came out on film some years back: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Book_of_Mormon_Movie
I am not sure if the rest of of it will be made. Seems to be stuck in a bit of development hell for going on 13 years...

Some minds won't be changed no matter how much evidence you show them. I stopped engaging in this thread pages ago because it's just not worth arguing over. I can respect his right to believe as long as he can respect my rights to know it's all bullshit.
Not necessarily true though.
I'm open to all possibilities. I'm what you would call poorly educated, having left school having done no exams. What you'd possibly call ripe to be indoctrinated/brain washed whatever you want to call it. But I am willing to listen and learn I just need proof (i'm already wavering tbh).
As for any insults or rudeness aimed at me on this thread bring it on as it say's more about those that insult than it does me. Show me the evidence, I've already said I'd look unbiasedly and have done so, and not liked what I've seen so far, but again I've broad shoulders and am willing to listen and learn. If people have no interest in helping absolutely fine, I think we can all live with that.

Xtians love to insist that their silly-assed OT was "originally" written in Hebrew even though we have not a scintilla of evidence for that position. The earliest version was written in Greek. End of story.
But that too makes yhwh look like a schmuck.

I agree.
The KJV contradicts itself irreconcilably. 2 Chronicles 22:2 vs 2 Kings 8:26. Look it up.
Jesus is like Pinocchio. He's the bastard son of a carpenter. And a liar. And he wishes he was real.
