Usually there's a long personal story leading up to something like that. In this case, according to police, there were mental health issues as well as bullying in the mix. They also investigate the possibility that he was targeting migrants. Probably because of victimology.

Don't put words into my mouth - especially as regards an issue such as this. I have a lot of personal experience in that area.

The media is to blame and then everyone thinks it is someone who is mentally disturbed because even they don't know what is happening. Like I said, for the media, the politicians and the police, people who do terrible things are "medically insane." The reality is actually the contrary. Remember the sick fuck of a president; JFK who had his sister sectioned and labotomised just because she was enjoying herself. Also, I have Epilepsy and what is described as cluster headaches so, you are not alone in this world.

You can treat me with common courtesy or not; that's your choice, not mine.
Anyway, let's not derail this any more.
I do so with common courtesy and I wasn't aware that I was "quote mining", let alone aware of it.
Off-topic, I received reputation from you I believe for a nothing post, therefore it devalues the reputation system.
*shrug* I repped you for the general posting you've done lately -- I never rep for a single post, that just gets a kudos.
How you vaule it, or not, is none of my business, though. Carry on.

Again, without getting off too off-topic, my posts have been somewhat "illogical", thus not worthy of reputation. Furthermore, I enjoy posting on forums and give my opinions, NOT to receive reputation just to inflate the ego, because that is what happens in most cases. I just see them as pixels on a screen and it adds no more credibility than a gold star for doing well at mental mathematics. That is my two'penneth anyway and I will say nothing more. So, I have enjoyed my time here and it has been great, but I am going to leave quietly. It is not the forum for me in spite of my non-religious leanings. Good luck.

Again bella, I go to forums looking to post and give an opinion. I don't come here to receive rewards just because I made a reasonable post. I see no reason to hang around anymore. All the best bella.

Not all mentally ill/disturbed are mass shooters, not by a long shot (no pun intended). Mass shooters (not necessarily associated with terror) have a higher rate of having mental illness prior to the shooting. See the attached site. Click on the full google spreadsheet view and then read/count the no vs unclear vs yes in column J (prior signs of mental illness). Even the "unclear" have indications of mental illness.

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Sorry you feel that way. I didn't realize that giving you rep would drive you off, or I wouldn't have done it. Not quite the quiet exit, but hey, everyone does things in their own style.

Maybe the problem is how you receive opinions which don't comport with yours? I know I get antsy with folks sometimes when they can't see what I think is entirely obvious. Perhaps you've got that same catch built into you?

Police confirms that the shooter has left a manifesto but didn't give any details. The guy visited the scenes of previous mass shootings and obviously had planned the attack for about a year.
And now the usual video game stupidity sets in again. He played Counter Strike, so obviously playing Ego shooters is a sure way to running ammok in the future. Media, as usual, doesn't question the narrative. Sure, it's video games. Well, here's a surprise. Video games don't train you to be an efficient shot. And here's another one. Guys in their teens and twens tend to play Ego Shooters. 99,99999999 percent of them not going on a rampage in between sessions.
