Hillary Picks Tim Kaine for VP

Without any media coverage, Gary Johnson is already poling above 10 in several polls. And there are many months still to go. Jill Stein is bound to go up more in the polls too. Maybe it's not this election season they get delegates , but the Green and Libertarian parties continue to grow stronger. People don't need to rely on biased TV news anymore.

I predict everyone BESIDES Hilary will get blamed if she loses. But, what a lot of  people don't appear to get, is the presidency is not a dynasty. Hilary doesn't deserve the precedancy any more than anyone else. What the leaked e-mail show is, Hilary can't become president without cheating.

Really, I demand that you change your name. Unless you're doing it for hipster reasons.

I think your advice to dyresand would have worked here just as well.

At this time I wish they leaked some Trump mails. I'm sure they're even more interesting and don't play into the hands of a dork being only a heartbeat away from the largest nuclear arsenal on this world.

American elections influence the whole world. But this time round, they can be all the difference between more of the same and nuclear annihilation.

Hey, the old Nuclear annihilation argument. Yawn.

It was stupid when LBJ used it against Goldwater in the 64 (and then started the vietnam war) and it's stupid against Trump. Hillary is a warmonger, while Trump is worse on just about every other issue, his foreign policy is better then Hillary and Hillary is the one who criticizes Trump for getting along with Putin (who has his hand on the button of the second largest nuclear arsenal.) She wants to antagonize Russia and start more wars in the middle east. I'd say that puts us closer to nuclear annihilation then anything Trump has said.

I don't like the pick. It's certainly not a progressive pick. HOPEFULLY -- (she said naively) this means that she's going to shift her agenda leftward, and picked a centrist to try to appeal to centrists/moderates rather than relying on her VP to do that. (which ultimately would be a good strategy, but that's only one woman's hope--rather than what I think will happen)

What Bernie sander tried to accomplish was a true double miracle - simultaneously ensuring trump gets elected, while also ensuring young people feel they are doing some good.

Bernie was trying to get himself elected. He was smashing Trump in the polls, sometimes by 20%. He even swallowed his pride and endorsed her. People who voted for Hillary over Bernie are the ones who will get Trump elected and yet they are trying to pawn the blame

I wonder if Clinton would have chosen differently if, for example, Warren had been from a swing state. Kaine is a "safe" bet and possibly brings something to the table by virtue of being from Virginia. I can't otherwise wrap my head around her perverse treatment of the progressive wing of the party. If she thinks their votes are a sure thing, she might be in for a rude awakening.

I'm very disappointed with the DNC and Clinton. It seems they will do whatever it takes to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I would swallow my misgivings about Clinton and vote for her in a moment if it might help keep Trump out of the White House. But since I live in Louisiana, this state going red in November is pretty much a foregone conclusion. I am seriously considering a third party protest vote for the first time in my life.

You think that idiot would be perfectly capable to follow a whim? That's not a mental giant we're talking about. With a very short attention span according to former employees. The only thing gigantic about this man is his ego.

He will probably be stopped, just like Nixon was when he wanted to launch nukes in a drunken fit. But that's cold comfort, given all the damage he could do to the world on so many levels.

I think what you're trying to say is Hilary people are trying to shift the blame to everyone besides Hilary for Hilary being so shitty. Hilary Bots knew what they were voting for. Hilary is to blame for her terrible polling numbers (despite already spending tens of millions already). Bernie was simply highlighting just some of Hilary's many flaws. Don't want Trump as president? Should have voted for Sanders.
