Donald Trump and the RNC, My Thoughts
#21
RE: Donald Trump and the RNC, My Thoughts
If Trump wins, I'll be heading back to Sweden. Hopefully my family will follow me.

But I think Hillary will crush him in the debates. He's all style, no substance. And Mike Pence won't be able to beat a pile of shit, let alone Tim Kaine in a debate.

Trumps gonna win, mate.

The electoral math doesn't favor his chances, and he has alienated a majority of women and the fastest growing ethnic demographic in this country, Latinos -- not to mention serious, sane people who recognize a smokescreen when they see one. He only wins somehow by default, if the Democrats prove to be even more inept than I already suspect them to be. There just aren't enough angry white guys to carry him through. Some of us are angry but haven't yet lost our fucking minds.

The man is intellectually more incurious than George W. Bush ever was. He doesn't seem to understand anything about political policy process. He has offered zero policy substance on anything and thinks sound bites and twitter feeds represent intellectual discourse. He's a narcissist, a liar, a self-aggrandizing blowhard, a bully, and quite possibly a sociopath. And despite his alleged prowess as a negotiator, in the unlikely event he makes it to the White House, he will discover very quickly that the world of Manhattan real estate and Jersey casinos is downright parochial in comparison to the stage upon which he will be forced to act. He imagines himself a Colossus, standing astride the globe, everyone in awe of him. He has no idea of the types of people with whom he will have to negotiate and come to terms. He won't have his daddy's old connections or local politicians whose campaigns he's greased to help smooth his way. And tough? Just wait until he gets a load of some of the players from the Middle East or China.

Anyway, why do you care? Aren't you a Brexit supporter? What -- you need us to fuck up as badly as you Brits did to make you feel better? Or are you one of the U.K.'s equivalents of the American Bubba a.k.a. Trump supporter: gullible, xenophobic, ignorant as fuck, and proud of it?

I'm not a minority, gay, or transsexual and I've been to college, so I don't need other people to pay for my tuition.  I'm just an angry middle class man who Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party view as the source of all evil in the country.  I'm a dirty word to Hillary Clinton.  Union workers and all the working class are beginning wake up to this fact and they will go to Trump, allowing him to win Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.  If you're a traditional American, the Democrat party has no use for you except to pay the taxes used to enrich minority groups.  Republicans support policies that will lead to creating better paying jobs and a level playing field so that all Americans, regardless of sex, race or minority group can prosper.

Republicans might, but Trump doesn't.  / shrugs
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

"Traditional American" Fuck off with that stupid shit.  There's no goddamn such thing as a 'traditional american'.  Republicans don't want minorities to prosper.  They only want you "Traditional" americans (AKA Rich and Christian) to prosper, and fuck everyone else.

Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.

It's a mystery.

Traditional American? Do explain because it sounds like the sort of code your candidates use when they are pandering to you.

And forgive me if I missed something, but exactly when did the GOP give a damn about unions and the working class? They're all about tax cuts for the wealthy and regressive tax schemes for schmucks like you and me.
