Delaware Court Strikes Down Capital Punishment

I'm against capital punishment.
But if it has to exist, why can't they make it quick?
In 2016 can we not make a machine that instantly kills?
Hanging and lethal injection is just as barbaric as having you're throat slit with a blunt knife like isis do.
Isn't it?
Even the guillotine would be better than that.
It's just fucking sick.

We have several, they are just messy, therefore considered cruel.

I think they are technically considered unusual. Cruel and unusual punishment. I'm pretty sure it because of the disfigurement of the corpse. We can't do any execution that disfigures or dismembers the body, out of respect for the families of the executed. I don't think that a comparison between capital punishment and ISIS is at all fair though. ISIS has publicly crucified people for being infidels. Of course we can morally condemn that, even if we execute a small number of multiple murderers.
