We just put in the oven something that's a lot like shepherds pie, except with puff pastry instead of mashed potatoes.
No recipe, we're living on the edge.

Damn that sounds like a lot more fun than my meals lately. Today:
Morning: two eggs scrambled + three pieces of buttered toast with honey & a cup of tea
mid-day: bowl of gazpacho with two slices of olive bread and a diet coke
Evening: fresh salad dressed with olive oil and aged balsamic, made with red lettuce, beets, kalamata olives, radishes, sweet pepper, onion, blue cheese figs & blueberries served with crackers and a small glass of white wine.
But we went out for our anniversary recently to a nice Italian restaurant. We ordered one starter and a salad and then two other dishes. We were two full after eating the first of those dishes that we ended up bringing the other home to have the next day: yellowfin tuna wrapped and baked in prosciutto served on a bed of root veggies and beans in a nice sauce. Fortunately anniversaries only come around once a year.

It's quite a lot of prep, W, but I guess you got the time these days.
That salad sounds pretty awesome actually...

Oh forgot to mention, with the remaining puff pastry, we're trying to make a bananas foster popover.

Cooking fresh is something I make time for. It's worth it.
