I haven't read the cv so, I was unaware of his origins, though the way his sentences were structured and his use of tenses led me to the conclusion that he comes from Eastern Europe.
You lost me at the "study the false gods" part. At that point the antibrainwashing firewall in my brain automatically started and I stopped reading.
