Care to expound on some of the arguments you've read in favor of an afterlife?

Pick any NDE experience. Eben Alexander. Colton Burpo. The one in this thread that Boru just exposed. Or everything guys like Deepak Chopra or Charles Tart has ever said on the subject of the afterlife.

It would be one thing if it was just for the sake of emotional comfort, but believing bullshit can be deeply damaging to people's lives.

According to the standard model of particle physics, there are 3 densities of quark pairs (renderend stable by the universe) plus their anti-quarks (antimatter) for a total of six types.  The atoms we are made of and find in this universe are of the matter charge orientation (center of atom is positive charge and peripheral is negative) and of the lightest of quarks pairs.  

I'm saying that the other types are interdependent realms/creations entangled with the creation/suspension of our type.  None of the single types can exist without the other like we do not get a single color when we send white lite through a prism.

The unification of matter before the inflation of the universe works similarly. In this life we find ourselves in one "color". The "afterlife" takes place in the other color bands.

We are not the only type of matter nor space-time region within a universe and the universe has a fixed membrane. Our region is growing and once the expansion pressure on the the other regions reaches a certain point, they will merge. Like two bubbles combining membranes and internal space into a single one.

The first of several mergers would be with the region that directly surrounds ours, the astral or water realm. "Raising of the dead" etc...

If you know the elemental natures of the individual regions, their shape, and order of merger....you can very easily translate it into a prophesy story for any culture using their language.

The last merger would be the matter side of the universe with the anti-matter side. The "Great Perfection of the Universe" or Frashokereti as the Zoroastrians phrased it, "when the mountains would melt into rivers of metal which will burn the wicked but be like warm milk to the righteous." In the bible: 2 Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

Then "all has been made new"

"Thy Kingdom Come." is literal and inevitable how ever far off into the future it is.
