2.5 hours of that will cost you the same as getting your own pilot's license. After that you can wet lease a plane of your own to fly for $100 an hour.

I went gliding at Warner Springs once. Way in the middle of nowhere about 2 h drive from San Diego city. I thought it was quite neat.

I formerly processed paperwork on some space shuttle hardware for a few years, I've had enough of gliders . . .
