The crap about women wanting to be first among equals is just that, crap. It's true that some women would like that, but generalizing that to women is sloppy thinking. It sure doesn't comport with my experience, which is that women are happy in a relationship when they simply feel heard.

Yaaaas.....I cannot tell you how many times I get the shits of having to repeat myself over and over and over because the man (and sons) in my life do not hear me.

Listening is one thing... actually hearing what someone says, is another.

My purpose in this thread isn't to spark any debates over feminism and/or how women in the US (or, elsewhere) perceive themselves, real or imagined.  Rather, it's about Trump's path to the White House, if there is one.

If your for Drumpf your for what I stated above.

And the economy was never good. Communism has really bad flaws... but sadly so does Capitalism.

I heard Ayn Rand is cool, better read her shit I guess. Sounds fun.
Unless....

Atlas shrugged...

OHHHHHH

Afro

I am not voting for the asshole who is also a lying adulterous cheater.  But, I am saying that climate change is Trump's last card, which, if he begins to play it correctly, might get the ball at least back on the court.

Hilary wasn't the one who cheated, it was Bill... And that's hypocritical do you know how much Donald Jizz Drumpf lies?
Acknowledging climate change is good for a politician... But most of his voters and other people don't give a fuck.

And Hilary is currently helping the baton rouge victims by getting people to donate to them or the red cross.
Is Drumpf doing that?
If so... How?

And... Donald Jizz Drumpf doesn't have any political experience.
And even if he won all the lean democrat states, he wouldn't get the ball back.
He still would need more states.
I'll cut off my pewbs if he does win.

So you're saying "Fuck the environment, money is more important"?

Thing is, most fucking morons who think climate change isn't a real problem are already voting Trump. So that's not going to do anything. Hillary can easily turn around and paint him as buddying up with oil companies. She can then point to the 99% of scientists who agree Climate Change is a real problem, and that she's the ONLY candidate willing to address it. Ultimately painting her in a better light, while sculpting a sculpture of him with a tiny dick (again)

Well said!  As for the Donald's lies, independent political agencies have documented that every other sentence is practically a lie.  You can read more about that here:

Let's not derail the thread.  I live Iowa; we now have two Republican senators, the well-known Charles Grassley (who has served since 1981) and Joni Ernst, who managed to flip a seat from the Democratic populist Tom Harkin.  She's a climate-change denialist, even to the right of the Donald on many issues.  But, again, she got elected.

Please, do not derail this thread.

P.S. The Democrats, during Ernst's election bid, ran ad after ad on her climate-change denial, which, so far as I can tell, actually helped her win the election!

P.P.S. I don't want any arguments over climate change and/or the science behind it.

Yeah, there is speculation that it's all a stunt.  But, fact is, Trump got more votes in the primary than has any other Republican nominee in US history.  Of course, the US population is still growing, and so, this statistic may be nothing to brag about.

If you don't stop it, I'm going to break my own nose from all this face-palming.

P.S. Okay, I am derailing my own thread. (Stop it, "Damn't Jim, I'm a...")

Then perhaps you should have left out that language?

No, you wanted to slip those views in but now don't want to be questioned about them. I can't say I blame you, I wouldn't want to defend those statements myself.

I'll address the last first.  Usually, the topic sentence in a paragraph gives its intent away; I don't want any arguments over feminism, climate change, thread derailing. etc.  What I am after, solely, is Trump's "best path" to the White House, if there is one.

My OP was political satire, and I could have sub-titled it, "What the voters are thinking in their heads during the 2016 US Presidential election campaign."  Of course, that analysis is subjective, and it's not very PC, but then again, the thoughts that go on in peoples' heads are rarely PC.

So, how does Trump pull this one off?  He's a sexist, racist, homophobic, chauvinistic bigot, and he's not going to shake that image off, ever; and, he is running for the highest office in the Land when the US economy is doing great with a patriotic showing in the 2016 Rio Games where the US sunk every other nation.  The only path that I can see for him is the path of the "Green apocalyptic nightmare," real or imagined (probably, a little between the extremes); Hillary favors the Paris climate accords, which Trump would tear-up. Clearly, that is a difference between the two, a major one if you ask me.

What other avenue is there left for the Donald with barely 2 months to go during which a third of the country will have already voted?
