A 'fun', 'nice guy' story:

It was like two years ago, it was my friends birthday party. We were all having fun, we had pretty much done everything so we decided to go out and grill some hotdogs and such while playing 'rugby' in his backyard, but without teams nor goals, it was pretty much trying to hold the ball for as long as you can, while the others are trying to tackle you and take the ball. There was something about tackling each other, we were all drawn to it. However, I wasn't too fond of the tackling and killing each other, usually I stood by and watched, but this time I said, sounds fun, fuck it, I'm in. So, we were all having fun, alright, and then, I see the ball, nice, now I'm holding it. I run around for five eternal seconds trying to avoid getting tackled, but, it gets really quiet... I look around.

I'm nice to people who are nice to me in my own immediate sphere of influence. I'll smile, hold doors, help carry stuff, whatever. Most people I think it would be fair to say think I'm a nice person.

But if someone pisses me off or is rude, I go hyper British contained rage. For those who don't know what that is it's usually a sarcastic comment, or icy stares into the back of someone's head with dark, dark thoughts, followed by a non-committed smile if they turn around and notice you. They know what you've been thinking though, " you total cunt stain. You fucking cock jockey, not saying thank you when I held the door, like you're too good. Hodor did it to save a disabled kid's life and they gave him eternal gratitude. But you can't be bothered your arseto say thanks? Well fuck you prick face." But they don't say anything and neither do you. You've had a silent battle, and you know you've won. You just know. You get satisfaction knowing if there was a situation where you could hold the door to stop evil zombies eating the guys face, you'd just let the door swing open, smiling as they tore his Little face off. And as he was about to die, you'd just whisper into his ear "thanks"

I'm always intentionally completely lovely and even when I'm dickish by accident I apologize and it's never anything super nasty. I don't insult people unless they're nasty to other friends either and even then it's very rarely and I seem to be way way way calmer right now. Great to have high self esteem.
