Did anyone listen to atheist experience this week?
Don't you think this first caller is totally playing them? This is clearly a prank call right?

Well they're a bunch of SJW Regressive Left type Atheists on that show so they will tend to get troll calls from people who take the piss out of them at least once a month.
If the hypothetical idea of an afterlife means more to you than the objectively true reality we all share, then you deserve no respect.

I used to listen to it for a while. But it got old after a while.

No, I don't listen to anything atheism related anymore. I don't need confirmation for my disbelief.

Besides couldn't an atheist's 'experience' be almost anything under the sun? Anyone can be atheist and anyone can have almost any constellation of opinions and interests. Assuming it is just a show where fundy theists come off looking ignorant .. that just gets old.

It's Dillahunty's channel. One of the prominent atheists I actually like. Not one of the knife between his teeth guys. Keeps some good company too, being friends with AronRa, among others.

It's just that I'm not interested in that call in show anymore. I used to watch it for a giggle because some very real red blooded idiots called in. But even that got old after a while.

It's a good show, but like many others, I stopped listening after I heard everything they had to say. They keep the show going for people who haven't heard the obvious yet, and there's far to many of those.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

90% of the show now is Atheists calling in to give them a reach-a-round. The theists don't even bother much anymore, when the show actually had drama and drama they didn't silence like anti-feminist callers or anti-theist callers it was good, then they realized they have good points and screened their calls. Now it's just a boring anti-christian circle jerk channel now.

I listen to it pretty consistently, and get none of that.

It always had mostly atheist callers, and when they first went all online, hardly any theists called. But now it seems to be close to the same ratio as before.

I believe most of the hosts consider themselves anti-theists, so I'm not sure why they would block those callers.

Not sure what you are referring to about anti-feminist callers...

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

I dont watch it anymore. It became repetitive after a while.
I do however admire their effort to get their word out in a predominantly Republican bible-thumping part of America. Matt has said in the past (I think) that they have been threatened before, which is not surprising.

Prank calls are all part of the deal. They used to get lots of theists who just call to take the piss. You can tell by their tone.

I mean how much can they cover? Separation of church and state? Address the arguments against creation? Maybe go over the logic behind disbelief?
Atheism doesn't have a doctrine because it is not a religion. There is little you can actually discuss in a talk-show, much less do it in a way to convince other people that their theological beliefs are wrong.
