Just woke up- I was up late last night. The wind is pretty fierce, but we haven't lost any people or power around here.

Well obviously but have you gotten down on your knees and humbly let the lord into your life?  I'm pretty sure that is the bare minimum payment accepted for saving you from natural disasters.
