Baby's First Hurricane

Tried to go to the bank... closed.
Tried to go to work... closed.
Stopped at the grocery store... not closed! We have plenty of necessary provisions in the house, but we were lacking in junk food and alcohol. Now I just wish I had some weed.
Hunkering down. The phone is charged and so is my Kindle. I think I'm all set.
Everyone in Matthew's path: stay safe, and please evacuate if they've asked you to.

I never knew you moved to FL. I'm watching the live stream for this (got family down there).

I've been here for three months, but I want to be home by summer. The depression got so bad, I stopped taking care of myself, so my mom flew me out here so she and my stepdad could take care of me for a while. It's working, and I'm looking forward to going back to SD.

They are in the Port St. Lucie/Fort Pierce area and the Orlando area. Nobody has decided to evacuate. I lived in the Clearwater area in the early '90s. Hated it back then, but I miss a lot of things about it now. Not the rain, though. I do snow much better than rain.
