I'm not a social butterfly (or bird ). Plus it looks a lot like Google+ tbh, and that was something I never got into either... just didn't look very intuitive.
Just remember that all these FB idiots are the people you interact with in society everyday, whether you know them or not. A little frightening when I pause to consider it.

It's really nothing impressive, but useful for me to keep up to date with journalists I like. As I mentioned before, I don't tweet. Well thanks for the info about it anyway... it's never really been a problem this being behind the times a few years lark... if it doesn't take off I just miss it completely (like MySpace and what have you) and if it does, I may or may not get round to it eventually, no loss either way though You should see my room... it's a mixture or old and new tech which lets me straddle, quite comfortably, both worlds at the same time So my little entertainment setup consists of a 1TB HDD media player plugged into my TV for playing my music collection and watching recorded TV, a cheap Chinese freeview recorder that records onto a SD card, which I then edit the adverts out on software on my PC (if I can be arsed... otherwise I just write (ads) in the film's title) and then transfer to the media player. So it's a bit of a treat every now and then (though hard work), to do a binge of advert pruning... saves about 500mb per film. And now a Roku 3 to add streaming to that little package. Plus a few DVDs. |
