Had a friend gunned down while sitting in a gay bar too. No one was ever caught, and for the time frame, early 80s, and the location, Chicagoland, I've wondered if the cops even bothered investigating.


Still, times have changed, the "Kill a Queer for Christ' stuff used to be an incitement to violence, now it's a derision of christianity.

I thought I was clear in stating that quote was taken directly from the bible, yet you blame Jack Chick for it...

I honestly never heard of this before. Oh well. People die, and it seems ripe. Am I missing something of importance?

Well, to jack Chick's credit, racism is absent from his tracts*.

In fact, I reviewed his anti-Mormon tract, and amongst his numerous complaints against Mormonism is the racial stuff they used to be big on, but aren't anymore. So Jack is more than willing to cite the Mormons well documented racist strictures and edicts against them.

Additionally, I find Chick's anti-ecumenism rather endearing in an old school sort of way, he certainly detests, loathes and despises Catholics, for instance. And Mormons really garner some broadsides too. Jack certainly isn't shy about not liking Jehovah's Witnesses, Masonry, the 'occult', Islam, and Catholics, wow, he has a hardon for the Catholics!


* there might be some insensitivity in his drawings of Semitic peoples, I suppose, but we are dealing with an essentially cartoon medium, there'd be artistic license to underscore the points being made.
