Actually, this IS 2000.  Almost exactly.

It appears likely she'll win the popular vote and lose the electoral college.  So more people voted for sanity, but because of our effed up electoral college, we are likely to end up with an psycotic oompa loompa in office, lol.

WHAT DO WE DO

We take a deep breath or three.

It looks like Republicans will still be majority in the House and Senate. Are you imagining what is going to happen to this country with an entirely Republican-controlled government? They're going to repeal Obamacare and replace it with bullshit. I'm not going to have health insurance. ...I have kidney disease, I'm guaranteed to have to get a transplant within the next 2 years. What am I going to do?

It is pure bullshit how the popular vote and the electoral college votes work. I'm sorry, but that is something that really needs to change. It makes it seem like our votes are all in vain. Get rid of the electoral college. The popular votes show who the majority of the American people want in office. That should stand on its own, not some bullshit electoral college crap.

I keep getting a "404 not found" error when I click on that.

Maybe they're trying to soften the blow for us by not letting us see the results.

I'm really scared for this country right now.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Keep them coming. I just got home from school. My back is killing me and I already downed a pain pill.
CD, I hope you were joking about the riots. That's not funny. Dodgy

Yeah, sorry.  Must not have copied it completely.  You can get there with the link on Jenny's post at the bottom of the first page.

But no it doesn't look good for Hillary, us or the humanity right now.  I won't be going any where if he wins.  I've been through Reagan's election and W's and both times I thought it would be unbearable.  Worse than that is bearable.  Still Trump is dangerous because he has so little knowledge or self restraint.  It could be really, really bad but maybe it has to go to shit before it can get better?  Maybe purist prima donna's will step up next time.

There goes Florida.

Not me. If he wins, I'm staying and fighting.

Fighting with what?  He'll have the senate, congress, and the supreme court.

Don't take this the wrong way, are you being serious?  Do you really?
I'm sorry to hear, I didn't know you had a serious illness. Sad

4 years of Republican control at this time in history might be honestly disastrous.  For the planet.  Not World War hype stuff, but energy policy.  That's real, and important.  Kiss those glaciers goodbye.

I can only hope it's not that bad.

Unfortunately yes. That's why healthcare is a big issue for me in this election, if you haven't noticed I usually pop up in any threads about it

I'm really starting to hate this country. I'm ashamed to be an American for the first time in my life.
